I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
